Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovanni Berger kicked off to start the match. Adriano Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Renato Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Verava's Zé Schmidt got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Adriano Luz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Desempenho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Luz couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Desempenho's Amadeu Cruz threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diguinho Ceresso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diguinho Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. Renato Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. Mazinho de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Geovanni Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aílton Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Seco having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho Ceresso made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Verava got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho de Azevedo. If Diguinho Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Verava's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Luz came free, but Amadeu Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Verava's zone, Noel Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Cruz came out of the goal and Noel Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorian de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Renato Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Montenegro in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Verava's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Luz came free, but Amadeu Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Ceresso in the 73rd minute of the match. The long shot by Zé Schmidt in the 78th minute really tested Renato Seco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Amadeu Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Juan Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Dorian de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
