Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valdir Senas short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Carlos Fernando Antunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Orlando Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Fernando Antunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Orlando Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Queirós in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agnaldo Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the game, Dênis Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Agnaldo Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Buquira AD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ediberto da Rocha hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Palmitinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Carneiro came free, but Carlos Fernando Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Orlando Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Antunes having to interfere. When Palmitinho SS's Dênis Queirós in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buquira AD's goalie prevented a goal. Dênis Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Queirós took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agnaldo Guerra. Agnaldo Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Falcão Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Dênis Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitinho SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Beto Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Carneiro in the 59th minute of play. Beto Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Guerra was a little too slow when Beto Mendonça got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Orlando Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buquira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manoel Toledo's late challenge caught a Buquira AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Palmitinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernando Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Palmitinho SS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Valdomiro Peres hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Buquira AD's João Carlos Goiano tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Beto Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agnaldo Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Valdir Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Beto Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agnaldo Guerra was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The supporters of Palmitinho SS booed when Buquira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buquira AD's zone, Dênis Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Guerra came out of the goal and Dênis Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Sena struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Carlos Fernando Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buquira AD. Palmitinho SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
