Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nilmar Schmidt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Rony Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Lira having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Argola SS got a freekick which was hit by Chico Guedes. After having played for 9 minutes, Nilmar Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jua fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argola SS's José Paulo Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Schmidt in the 15th minute of play. Duda de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Argola SS's Alfredo Vides couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jua fc. Afonso Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Haroldo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gabriel Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes, Argola SS's Alfredo Vides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haroldo Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Argola SS reached it. After a rather tough play, Jua fc's Duda de Alcântara got a free kick in the 30th minute. Haroldo Marques stood somewhat misplaced when Américo de Sena came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Flávio Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jua fc! The goalkeeper, Haroldo Marques, was totally fooled by Argola SS's Alfredo Vides, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Argola SS defense, Rony Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Paulo Lira. The Argola SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Paulo Lira should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Argola SS's zone, Rony Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Lira came out of the goal and Rony Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. Chico Guedes's late challenge caught a Jua fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jua fc booed when Argola SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Argola SS's zone, Rony Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Lira came out of the goal and Rony Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilmar Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Bezerra in the 64th minute of play. Rony Bezerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, José Paulo Lira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulinho Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Afonso Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Afonso Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argola SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Chico Guedes was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd match minute, Argola SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Jua fc's Flávio Nunes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Argola SS. If Nilmar Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
