Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Reynaldo Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Pucuriu and the Jatoba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo Marinho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Lino Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúl Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Arruda in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Jatoba's Lino Arruda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúl Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Marinho in the 12th minute of play forced Jatoba's goalkeeper Guga Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes, Jatoba's Lúcio Siqueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raúl Mazza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jatoba reached it. Zeca de Medeiros hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Raúl Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Reynaldo Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lino Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, João Pedro Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AD Pucuriu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zeca de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Guga Macedo made a huge save. Zeca de Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guga Macedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeca de Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 44th minute. Zeca de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Macedo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateus Marinho made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Raúl Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raúl Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, AD Pucuriu's Zeca de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guga Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genílson Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Raúl Mazza made a huge save. When Wilton do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jatoba's protests and gave Wilton do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Jatoba got a freekick which was hit by Wilton do Nascimento. Zeca de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Guga Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Pucuriu. Renatinho Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Jatoba's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca de Medeiros came free, but Guga Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jatoba defense, Mateus Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guga Macedo. The Jatoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guga Macedo should have stopped the shot. If Mateus Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Jatoba's Lino Arruda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Thanks to some nice moves Perivaldo Tavares could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Raúl Mazza however easily saved by the left post.
