Mateus Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Paranaense having to interfere. In the 13th minute Tiago Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Passos's late challenge caught a JOAOVICTORFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Júlio Bezerra with Afonso Terra as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 25th minute, Zé Roberto Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Souza struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Acácio Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JOAOVICTORFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Senna in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Paranaense saved Jatina from getting behind. Acácio Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Tinoco went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Senna to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Gerber during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateus Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Acácio Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to JOAOVICTORFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dinei Peixoto hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Acácio Paranaense made a huge save. After having played for 86 minutes, Mateus Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JOAOVICTORFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Senna in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acácio Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Jatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over JOAOVICTORFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jatina throughout the match.
