Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Percy Saraiva kicked off to start the match. Mateus Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Duarte Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JOAOVICTORFC. After a rather tough play, JOAOVICTORFC's Otávio de Lara got a free kick in the 15th minute. Betão Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino do Vale having to interfere. Claudinei Souza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Taboao SS's zone, Tiago Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Mesquita came out of the goal and Tiago Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Claudinei Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Mesquita having to interfere. If Tiago Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. JOAOVICTORFC's Tiago Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taboao SS's Duarte Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Tinoco in the 40th minute of play. If Luiz Fabiano Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Senna was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Taboao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Tinoco came free, but Duarte Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Tiago Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JOAOVICTORFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Freire in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mateus Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. JOAOVICTORFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateus Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Mesquita having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Tiago Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percy Saraiva hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Duarte Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Senna in the 85th minute of play. Duarte Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Tinoco in the 89th minute of play forced Taboao SS's goalkeeper Duarte Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Senna in the 93rd minute of play. Durvalino do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the JOAOVICTORFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
