Cauan do Nascimento came out of the goal and Tiago Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fabiano Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cauan do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mateus Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chapecoense F.C's zone, Tiago Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan do Nascimento came out of the goal and Tiago Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chapecoense F.C's Cauan do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Melo in the 26th minute of play. Décio Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cauan do Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when JOAOVICTORFC's Tiago Senna shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tiago Senna sped through Chapecoense F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauan do Nascimento. In the 43rd match minute, Chapecoense F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. When Marquinhos Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapecoense F.C's protests and gave Marquinhos Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Senna was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chapecoense F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Souza came free, but Cauan do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Lucas Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan do Nascimento having to interfere. If Tiago Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Chico Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Tiago Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JOAOVICTORFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A hard shot 70 in the game by Tiago Senna from a close distance when the talented Cauan do Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. Chapecoense F.C's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Mineiro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durvalino do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mateus Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Tinoco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cauan do Nascimento having to make a save. Otávio de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cauan do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chapecoense F.C's zone, Tiago Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan do Nascimento came out of the goal and Tiago Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. JOAOVICTORFC's Tiago Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Didi Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded JOAOVICTORFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chapecoense F.C.
