Simão Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parnarama AD's Luiz Fabiano Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Eger in the 38th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Eger in the 40th minute of play. When Marquinhos Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ambicao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Tepedino couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Eger in the 43rd minute of play forced Parnarama AD's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Eger succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerson Eger made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Gerson Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Augusto Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Matorin. Ambicao EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ambicao EC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
