Carnahyba AD's Sabino Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Carnahyba AD from getting a goal against them. Henrique Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carnahyba AD's Sabino Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Neiva in the 23rd minute of play. Henrique Duarte scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabino Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Carnahyba AD's Antônio Couto got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carnahyba AD's zone, Henrique Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabino Faria came out of the goal and Henrique Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabino Faria having to make a save. Henrique Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Faria having to interfere. Carnahyba AD's Sabino Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Neiva in the 33rd minute of play. If Luiz Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Luiz Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Shaddai Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sabino Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carnahyba AD's Dário de Carvalho got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Luiz Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Luiz Neiva made the kick off in the second half. Henrique Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Faria having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Carnahyba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Neiva came free, but Sabino Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Carnahyba AD got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Mendonça. The Carnahyba AD fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Carnahyba AD's Ulisses Cardoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sabino Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Duarte in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Carnahyba AD defense, Henrique Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabino Faria. The Carnahyba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabino Faria should have stopped the shot. After 73 played minutes El Shaddai Utd got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Duarte. Sabino Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Neiva in the 80th minute of play. Carnahyba AD's Sabino Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Duarte in the 85th minute of play. Henrique Duarte scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabino Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabino Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luiz Gustavo Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the El Shaddai Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Henrique Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Faria having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the El Shaddai Utd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
