The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Expressinho F.C got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Rossi. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Shaddai Utd's goalkeeper Delfim Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Diogo Carioca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delfim Romero. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 38th minute Henrique Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Paraíba having to interfere. Carlinhos Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Neiva in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Carioca was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Henrique Duarte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. El Shaddai Utd played a much better game than Expressinho F.C and deserved their victory. The Expressinho F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
