After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Felippe Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aredo's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Peres in the 16th minute of play. Vágner Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Anderson Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Velloso having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Fontes in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Velloso saved Aredo from getting behind. Henrique Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Velloso having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Fluminense de Feira got a corner. Aredo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vágner Paraíba ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fluminense de Feira's Vágner Paraíba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anderson Velloso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fluminense de Feira's Osvaldo Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fluminense de Feira's Henrique Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Fontes in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Velloso saved Aredo from getting behind. Anderson Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.
The wind increased when Felippe Lima made the kick off in the second half. Aredo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Henrique Gaúcho scored to the left of an out of position Anderson Velloso, making the score, 0-1. After 59 minutes, Osvaldo Fontes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aredo's Anderson Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Fluminense de Feira's Aleandro Mandrak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anderson Velloso. Anderson Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After some careless play in the Fluminense de Feira defense, Felippe Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco da Mata. The Fluminense de Feira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco da Mata should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felippe Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Peres during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
