Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Márcio Pontes started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Belchior Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ian Pereira came out and tried to block the shot, but Márcio Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Itapirarema's Belchior Chaves made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Tiago Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauã de Amorim. Deportivo Santa Tereza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiago Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Santa Tereza's goalkeeper Kauã de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kauã de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Chaves in the 25th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by David Guerreiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st match minute, Itapirarema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Kauã de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Itapirarema's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Pontes came free, but Ian Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiago Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Itapirarema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Salgado couldn't finish the play. If David Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Pereira made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when David Guerreiro sent off a good shot on target. David Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Itapirarema were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonathan Toledo made the kick off in the second half. Ian Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Pontes in the 54th minute of play. Kauã de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Toledo in the 55th minute of play. Kauã de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Márcio Pontes put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Pereira. In the 66th minute Belchior Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ronaldinho da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Itapirarema booed when Deportivo Santa Tereza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Deportivo Santa Tereza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Ian Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Pontes in the 82nd minute of the match. Deportivo Santa Tereza's Kauã de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Santa Tereza from getting a goal against them. André Luiz Souza struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kauã de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapirarema. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
