Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celsinho Secco started the match with the kick off. Zé Roberto de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Albertinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedreira EC's Zé Roberto de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertinho Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Santos1974 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Secco to maneuver through the defense. Celsinho Secco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alexandre Diniz, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Valério Pitta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albertinho Galvão was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Hortêncio Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Pitta in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho Galvão saved Santos1974 from getting behind. If Valério Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Pitta in the 45th minute of play forced Santos1974's goalkeeper Albertinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Valério Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedreira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Pitta to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Danilo de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos1974's Albertinho Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos1974's goalkeeper Albertinho Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Santos1974's Albertinho Galvão got control of the ball when Zé Roberto de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pedreira EC's Valério Pitta in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos1974's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Pedreira EC's Valério Pitta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celsinho Secco hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Albertinho Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Valério Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedreira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pedreira EC's Aírton Velasco got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Zé Roberto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Hortêncio Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertinho Galvão came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedreira EC's Zé Roberto de Sena. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Albertinho Galvão was a little too slow when Valério Pitta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-2. Valério Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertinho Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santos1974's Percy Sousa got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Zé Roberto de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Pitta in the 92nd minute of play.
