The supporters of Breozinho booed when S.C Malwee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Gilmar Dias from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Giovani Proença's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When S.C Malwee's Epifanio Ekain in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Breozinho's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Ekain went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Epifanio Ekain struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Sílvio França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C Malwee. 22 minutes into the game, Breozinho's Clóvis Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Delmar Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C Malwee's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Hunfredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, S.C Malwee's Epifanio Ekain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Breozinho's zone, Delmar Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio França came out of the goal and Delmar Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Epifanio Ekain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C Malwee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Sílvio França came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C Malwee's Delmar Hunfredo. But to his dismay, Delmar Hunfredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Montenegro got free with Giovani Proença in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.C Malwee's Delmar Hunfredo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Breozinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C Malwee were winning 2-4.

53 minutes into the game, Epifanio Ekain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Sílvio França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Hunfredo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio França saved Breozinho from getting behind. With a little luck, Breozinho's Sílvio França got control of the ball when Epifanio Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmar Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sílvio França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Marcus Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breozinho and the S.C Malwee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Breozinho got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Amaral. Sílvio França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, S.C Malwee's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Braga came free, but Giovani Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Corrêa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sílvio França was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Epifanio Ekain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Epifanio Ekain really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. 74 minutes into the game, S.C Malwee's Richard Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. Giovani Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Francisco Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breozinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C Malwee the free kick. A collision led to Breozinho getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Francisco Saraiva hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Breozinho's zone, Epifanio Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio França came out of the goal and Epifanio Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
