The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valério Souto during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valério Souto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 7th play minutes Diogo Macedo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hélder Falcão and just under the crossbar into goal. Júnior Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hélder Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruy Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. Renato Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Madureira having to interfere. Tottenham's Ruy Meira managed to work through Luzelia FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ruy Meira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hélder Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Ruy Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruy Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Danilo Duarte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Diogo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Renato Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some careless play in the Tottenham defense, Diogo Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Falcão. The Tottenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Falcão should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Luzelia FC's Júnior Soares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Hélder Falcão made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Diogo Macedo sent off a good shot on target. After 73 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Madureira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Macedo got free with Hélder Falcão in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Pontes to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goalkeeper Hélder Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogo Macedo. In the 81st minute, Ulysses Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Soares struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Hélder Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzelia FC. In the 84th minute, Tottenham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diogo Macedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 88th minute Júnior Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Júnior Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Soares came free, but Hélder Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
