The supporters of Aguapaba booed when Assiz SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacá Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Loyola in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Alberto Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alberto Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguapaba's Cacá Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Alberto Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Loyola in the 26th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alberto Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Cacá Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacá Dracena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Loyola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pinheiro in the 96th minute of play forced Assiz SS's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
