Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinho Quadros took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Betim's goalkeeper Dorian Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovani Urbano. Geovani Urbano scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorian Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Percy Barros's late challenge caught a Betim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Percy Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Betim's Dorian Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Betim from getting a goal against them. Geovani Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Roberto Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Betim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, João Pedro Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauã Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 40th minute Toninho Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charitas AD's Claudinho Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro Moreno to make the kick off. Betim's Dorian Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Quadros in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Moreno in the 60th minute of play forced Charitas AD's goalkeeper Kauã Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Quadros in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorian Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Moreno took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Palmeira. Kauã Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Frédson de Alcântara's late challenge caught a Charitas AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédson de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Charitas AD booed when Betim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Geovani Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betim's Dorian Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovani Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Britto having to make a save. Claudinei Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dorian Britto came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Charitas AD's Geovani Urbano. But to his dismay, Geovani Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Betim's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Urbano came free, but Dorian Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Charitas AD's zone, João Pedro Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Palmeira came out of the goal and João Pedro Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Geovani Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charitas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinei Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Charitas AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Betim's performance. The match ended with a win for Betim.
