After a defensive mix-up in Zezito's zone, Denis Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Tinoco came out of the goal and Denis Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Gabriel Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adhemar Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adhemar Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Aguiar in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Kauã Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zezito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. There was no doubt that Chelsea Itajaí were the better team. Chelsea Itajaí's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
