In the 28th minute, one of Haizen Soccer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Haizen Soccer. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Arlindo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haizen Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Wágner Barros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th minute, Elói Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlindo de Souza was the one to do the kick off. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Catetu fully deserved thier win.
