Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Guedes got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Iguape booed when Piquira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acácio de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Guedes's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Iguape was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Gilvan Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Iguape fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Mandrak couldn't finish the play. Nuno Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Acácio de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Iguape's Angelo Luz got control of the ball when Gilvan Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Joel Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caetano Pirani hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Nicolas Couto, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Iguape's Fábio da Fonseca got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nuno Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Berger made a kick off. Gilvan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Luz having to interfere. Daniel Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Acácio de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iguape. After 60 played minutes Nuno Guedes rounded Piquira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Daniel Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Acácio de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Nuno Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquira's Acácio de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Acácio de Mendonça made a huge save. Eliseu Porto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Iguape booed when Piquira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Mandrak took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio de Mendonça. Acácio de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Nuno Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Nuno Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquira's Acácio de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Daniel Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguape's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
