Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Prata kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Cruzalia getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luisinho Guedes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzalia's zone, Alfredo Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Silva came out of the goal and Alfredo Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Itauninhas's Dino Batista got control of the ball when Raúl Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Alfredo Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Itauninhas's goalkeeper Dino Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Cavalcante. Dino Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cruz in the 17th minute of play. Carlos Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Maciel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Itauninhas got a corner. Cruzalia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonardo de Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo de Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfredo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Luisinho Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzalia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itauninhas the free kick. Luisinho Guedes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Prata in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Maciel in the 36th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Luizão Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzalia and the Itauninhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luizão Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Alfredo Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzalia's goalkeeper Carlos Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Cruz made a kick off. Abel Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Silva having to interfere. Willian Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willian Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itauninhas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Willian Neto hit a great ball. Carlos Silva made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Abel Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Abel Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo de Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Prata in the 98th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
