Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Cruz started the match with the kick off. Carlos Silva made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Pedro Luís Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luís Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cruzalia's Carlos Silva got control of the ball when Ezequiel Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Silva having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cruz in the 20th minute of play forced Olaria's goalkeeper Naldo Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Pedro Luís Alcântara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Olaria's Pedro Luís Alcântara in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruzalia's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Arce in the 32nd minute of play forced Cruzalia's goalkeeper Carlos Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Olaria defense, Raúl Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Hames. The Olaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Hames should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luís Alcântara made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Olaria's Pedro Luís Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Raúl Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naldo Hames made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Raúl Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Raúl Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Hames. That made the score 1-4 in the 65 minute of play. Ezequiel Arce took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Silva. Carlos Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After a rather tough play, Olaria's Osmar Vinhas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Pedro Luís Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olaria. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Raúl Cavalcante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Cruzalia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cruzalia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
