Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alessandro Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Murityba's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Massa came free, but Ivo Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Seco took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué da Silva. Josué da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Murityba's Alessandro Sarmento got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Juvenal Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Cleiton Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pindoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murityba the free kick. A collision led to Pindoba getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cleiton Abraão hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renato Meireles to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindoba's goalkeeper Josué da Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dagoberto Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Murityba booed when Pindoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Josué da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Álvaro Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Brito came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Pindoba's Dagoberto Massa. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, Juvenal Queirós notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Murityba's Ivo Brito. Ivo Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juvenal Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ivo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josué da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Dagoberto Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ivo Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Massa in the 89th minute of play. Ivo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Queirós in the 91st minute of the match. Josué da Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Seco in the 93rd minute.
