Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virginopolis's Agenor Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Rodrigues in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Cabeça Branca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Ramos came free, but Josué de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Virginopolis got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Coutinho. 18 minutes into the match, Virginopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Rodrigues came free, but Agenor Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Coutinho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Cléberson Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Nunes hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Virginopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Dionísio came free, but Agenor Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Richard Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cabeça Branca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manoel Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Nicolas Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virginopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabeça Branca FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Virginopolis got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Coutinho. In the 41st minute, Cabeça Branca FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manoel Veloso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 43 minutes of play Virginopolis's Nicolas Coutinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Virginopolis's Nicolas Coutinho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
In the 53rd minute, Manoel Veloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Virginopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Richard Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agenor Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Richard Dionísio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Virginopolis's Agenor Mota. Agenor Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Cabeça Branca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Jerônimo Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Mota having to interfere. Virginopolis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
