Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Nelsinho Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Rolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Ortiz came free, but Gildo Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Gambas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Rolandia's Mathias Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adelino Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Faustão Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rolandia's Gildo Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gildo Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Guerra in the 28th minute of play. When Robinho da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gambas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho da Silva couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Ortiz in the 32nd minute of play forced Rolandia's goalkeeper Gildo Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gildo Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vicente Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Paraibano made a kick off. Nelsinho Guerras short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Gildo Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Dráusio Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Gambas's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Paraibano came free, but Vicente Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gambas's Nelsinho Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustão Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gildo Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gambas's Robinho da Silva in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolandia's goalie prevented a goal. Gildo Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Ortiz went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Nelsinho Guerra could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Gildo Ceresso however easily saved by the left post. In the 73rd minute Gambas were awarded a corner. Marco Seco went to the cornerflag to take it. Nelsinho Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rolandia's Kléber Antunes got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gildo Ceresso came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambas's Faustão Ortiz. But to his dismay, Faustão Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gildo Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Ortiz in the 89th minute of the match. Ricardo Zonta's late challenge caught a Gambas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. The Rolandia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gambas's performance. The match ended with a win for Gambas.
