Jorge Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo da Cunha in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Ubai SS booed when PARANOIA MZF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Luís Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PARANOIA MZF's Jorge Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marquinhos Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dida Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th play minute Joélson Gomes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Mota. 1-0. PARANOIA MZF's Jorge Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save PARANOIA MZF from getting a goal against them. Régis Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jorge Mota made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Franklin Goiano had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Américo da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Américo da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ubai SS defense, Ulisses Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Romero. The Ubai SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Romero should have stopped the shot. Ulisses Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dida Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Neto got free with Jorge Mota in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Rodrigues made a kick off. PARANOIA MZF's Jorge Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Neto in the 53rd minute of play. Marquinhos Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dida Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PARANOIA MZF's Jorge Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Rodrigues in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, PARANOIA MZF's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Rodrigues came free, but Jorge Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Mota took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Romero. Dida Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Luís Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Mota was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Luís Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PARANOIA MZF's Ulisses Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Régis Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PARANOIA MZF played a much better game than Ubai SS and deserved their victory. The Ubai SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
