Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manoel Nunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Délio Cruz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Madalena Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Aílton Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauro Magalhães hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Caio Sergipano scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Borges got free with Aílton Schmidt in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Quieto's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Sergipano came free, but Ronaldinho Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Lauro Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belmiro Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldinho Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute Belmiro Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quieto's Ronaldinho Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Sergipano in the 46th minute of play. The Quieto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madalena Esporte Clube were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belmiro Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belmiro Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Madalena Esporte Clube's Belmiro Mesquita got a free kick in the 54th minute. Caio Sergipano scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Belmiro Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Belmiro Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldinho Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belmiro Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronaldinho Cardoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Caio Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madalena Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Mesquita in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Cardoso was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Belmiro Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Belmiro Mesquita took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ronaldinho Cardoso to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute, Délio Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Quieto were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Quieto's Jean Ramalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Aílton Schmidt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Caio Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ronaldinho Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madalena Esporte Clube. After 98 minutes, Caio Sergipano made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Quieto's Ronaldinho Cardoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Madalena Esporte Clube played a much better game than Quieto and deserved their victory. The Quieto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
