Olavo Marinho started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Maurício Félix put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arlindo Seco. Arlindo Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Félix's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Gerson Leme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlindo Seco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saturnino Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Toscano in the 11th minute. Wilton de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Maurício Félix notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Imbuial SS's Arlindo Seco. Arlindo Seco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the game, André Luís Teles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arlindo Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olavo Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurício Félix made a kick off. André Luís Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Seco having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 56th minute when Olavo Marinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Imbuial SS got a freekick which was hit by Diego Toscano. When Gernando de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prospera FC's protests and gave Gernando de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes, Imbuial SS's Luís Fabiano Braga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saturnino Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imbuial SS reached it. After recieving a nice pass, Prospera FC's Maurício Félix tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Seco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Passos got free with Arlindo Seco in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurício Félix scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo Seco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arlindo Seco made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Marcus Passos sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Quintal during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imbuial SS's Lino Quintal got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fausto Passos lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Prospera FC! Prospera FC:s Saturnino Torres showed great skill when he stopped Luís Fabiano Braga:s penalty.
