Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Willian Messias started the match with the kick off. Anderson Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Carmelopolis AD's Tadeu Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Toninho Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fusion F.C. STARS booed when Carmelopolis AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Willian Messias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Charles Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Recife got free with João Pedro Matos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willian Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Charles Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Proença in the 36th minute of play. Fusion F.C. STARS's João Pedro Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Netto in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Haroldo Netto made the kick off in the second half. Anderson Proença scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pedro Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Tadeu Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Messias in the 61st minute of play forced Carmelopolis AD's goalkeeper Charles Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anderson Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. João Pedro Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Netto went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Charles Pontes was a little too slow when Willian Messias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Tadeu Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Anderson Proença put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Pontes. After having played for 87 minutes, Tadeu Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmelopolis AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes of play Fusion F.C. STARS's Toninho Rezende was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Carmelopolis AD booed when Fusion F.C. STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Alessandro de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fusion F.C. STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmelopolis AD the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fusion F.C. STARS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
