Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sucuru's Sydney Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sucuru getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sydney Torres hit a great ball. Romeu Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Samuca Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidnei Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Duarte Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sucuru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Duarte Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian da Costa having to interfere. A collision led to Sucuru getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dário Linhares hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Serafim Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuca Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Romeu Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Teles having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sucuru's Dário Linhares got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sucuru's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Freire came free, but Samuca Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel Campidelis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Sucuru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zatoni:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Zatoni. Serafim Mello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuca Teles. 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Zatoni's Sidnei Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuca Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dário Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sucuru's protests and gave Dário Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sucuru's Dário Linhares got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Sucuru's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeu Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 40 minutes into the game, Sidnei Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuca Teles. Sidnei Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Sydney Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian da Costa having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Freire was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Romeu Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Samuca Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romeu Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute Romeu Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Amaral in the 74th minute of play forced Sucuru's goalkeeper Samuca Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 79 minutes, Romeu Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zatoni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Romeu Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Samuca Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zatoni's Romeu Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zatoni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
