Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronaldão Netto got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Escuta's Wilson Arósio got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Betão Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Eger in the 16th minute of play. Betão Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Murilo Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Ronaldão Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Escuta's Cafu de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marquinhos Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marquinhos Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Netto in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Saquim's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Eger came free, but Marquinhos Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Betão Eger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Ronaldão Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronaldão Netto took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquinhos Tavares. Marquinhos Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marquinhos Tavares came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Escuta's Betão Eger. But to his dismay, Betão Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Saquim's zone, Betão Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Tavares came out of the goal and Betão Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Betão Eger could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Marquinhos Tavares however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares got control of the ball when Betão Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nando Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saquim's protests and gave Nando Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. Marquinhos Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Netto in the 68th minute of play. Nando Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match, Wilson Arósio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marquinhos Tavares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Saquim's Antônio de Almeida got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sandrinho Mattos made a great header on Escuta's corner, it was just that Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares managed to reach the ball for a save. Betão Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Tavares having to make a save. In the 90thth minute of the game Ronaldão Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saquim's Marquinhos Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Arósio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Marquinhos Tavares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nando Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ronaldão Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Tavares having to make a save. Ronaldão Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Tavares having to interfere. When the match was over Escuta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saquim throughout the match.
