But to his dismay, Ulisses Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lucas Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Guilherme Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Alfredinho Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulisses Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Valdomiro Santana made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Godoi. Caieira AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luís Guilherme Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Massa's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Adhemar Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Seco struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Seco in the 91st minute of play forced Bayeux's goalkeeper Valdomiro Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucas Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caieira AD's zone, Alfredinho Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Godoi came out of the goal and Alfredinho Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
