The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Bayeux got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Quaresma. A hard shot by Jefferson Toledo from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Ronaldão Cavalcante's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lucas Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ronaldão Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alfredinho Cerezo sped through Tupiniquins SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldão Cavalcante. After 21 played minutes Lucas Massa rounded Tupiniquins SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 25 minutes into the game, Fabrício Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tupiniquins SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayeux the free kick. After 25 played minutes Tupiniquins SC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Proença. In the 27th minute, Bayeux's Lucas Massa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronaldão Cavalcante. Ronaldão Cavalcante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. If Edgar Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Elias Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tupiniquins SC's Fabrício Proença got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Fabrício Proença off the ground. A collision led to Tupiniquins SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabrício Proença hit a great ball. In the 54th minute of the match Jefferson Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Bayeux's Valdomiro Santana got control of the ball when Elias Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alfredinho Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Massa in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão Cavalcante saved Tupiniquins SC from getting behind. When Adhemar Quaresma fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayeux's protests and gave Adhemar Quaresma a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bayeux booed when Tupiniquins SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Toledo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Cerezo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Tupiniquins SC's Ronaldão Cavalcante. Ronaldão Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bayeux's Alan Almeida got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tupiniquins SC's Armandinho Penha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valdomiro Santana but with some difficulty. Tupiniquins SC's Ronaldão Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Massa in the 79th minute of play.
