Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Doni Bueno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Taboleri FC defense, Guga Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Luís Pirani. The Taboleri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Luís Pirani should have stopped the shot. Taboleri FC's André Luís Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Taboleri FC from getting a goal against them. Guga Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Mello in the 13th minute of the match. Hermínio Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Mello's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Tostão Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taboleri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR. the free kick. Tostão Arósio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Bueno in the 17th minute of play forced Taboleri FC's goalkeeper André Luís Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. André Luís Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredinho Mello in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermínio Carneiro saved SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR. from getting behind. Doni Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pirani having to interfere. André Luís Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Taboleri FC's André Luís Pirani got control of the ball when Guga Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guga Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pirani having to interfere. When Tostão Arósio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. André Luís Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Guga Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR. booed when Taboleri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Pirani having to interfere. André Luís Pirani came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR.'s Caetano Loureiro. But to his dismay, Caetano Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 72 minutes, Valdir Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR. and the Taboleri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Taboleri FC's Toninho Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Luís Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th match minute, Taboleri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Mello to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toninho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Carneiro having to interfere. SOCIAL DEMOCRACIA FR.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
