In the 5th minute, Tiago Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PSOL Futebol e Política's Luís Guilherme Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Machado having to interfere. Nelson Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Silvério Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Ferreira having to interfere. Jaime Martins's late challenge caught a Ceveira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes PSOL Futebol e Política got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Martins. Gilson Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Fred Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Jacinto in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Ceveira FC's Fred Ferreira got control of the ball when Silvério Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Conrado Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson Machado. PSOL Futebol e Política's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gilson Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Reis in the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Cordeiro during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 played minutes PSOL Futebol e Política got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Cordeiro. The PSOL Futebol e Política players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ceveira FC were winning 0-1.

Ceveira FC's Victor de Moraes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 50th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PSOL Futebol e Política. Silvério Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silvinho Batista fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceveira FC's protests and gave Silvinho Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, one of Ceveira FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ceveira FC. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for PSOL Futebol e Política. Wesley Furtado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fred Ferreira. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Jacinto in the 67th minute of play forced Ceveira FC's goalkeeper Fred Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Guilherme Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Guilherme Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fred Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSOL Futebol e Política. Gustavo Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Guilherme Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Ferreira having to interfere. Fred Ferreira came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by PSOL Futebol e Política's Silvério Branco. But to his dismay, Silvério Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gilson Machado made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Zé Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Gilson Machado made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cesinha Amorim sent off a good shot on target. If Luís Guilherme Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the PSOL Futebol e Política players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
