The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for São Paulo Futebol Clube. Nestor Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Leão in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Almeirim SS's zone, Alonzo Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Valle came out of the goal and Alonzo Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Cardoso in the 28th minute of the match. Nestor Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Elano Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Valle having to interfere. Marcelinho Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Leão in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Yuri Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Donio skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute, Eliseu Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. São Paulo Futebol Clube's Nestor Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Cardoso in the 45th minute of play. Nestor Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Guilherme Leão was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Cardoso got free with Nestor Donio in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Alonzo Rivero notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Almeirim SS's Mathias Valle. Mathias Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nestor Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Almeirim SS booed when São Paulo Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Yuri Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and São Paulo Futebol Clube's Nestor Donio didn't even have to move. In the 75th minute, Gil Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
