An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria da Cunha in the 11th minute of play forced Juruma SS's goalkeeper José Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. José Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Clemente Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chiapetta AD! José Maria da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Clemente Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Clemente Schmidt put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of José Diniz. Clemente Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Diniz having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Maria da Cunha was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sandrinho Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Chiapetta AD's Luís Fábio do Vale got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chiapetta AD's zone, Hermínio Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Carvalho came out of the goal and Hermínio Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Massa in the 68th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Renan Bezerra put in a rough tackle. Chiapetta AD:s Tomás Carvalho showed great skill when he stopped Virgílio Viana:s penalty. 73 minutes into the game, Juruma SS's Virgílio Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. José Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Schmidt in the 77th minute. If Clemente Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Rodrigues in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Diniz saved Juruma SS from getting behind. José Diniz made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Clemente Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. The Juruma SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chiapetta AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
