Os mostros porongaos's Nico de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arthur Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Matos having to interfere. When Ian Dante came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Os mostros porongaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Dante couldn't finish the play. If Ian Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Valadares in the 31st minute of play forced Os mostros porongaos's goalkeeper Hílton Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Esteira getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Duarte Valadares hit a great ball. Nico de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Matos having to interfere. If Nico de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esteira's goalkeeper Clóvis Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hélio Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 53rd minute, Arthur Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Matos. Os mostros porongaos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Clóvis Arce made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Nico de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Arthur Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Ian Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Esteira booed when Os mostros porongaos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Eurico Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélio Saraiva scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clóvis Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Lucas in the 94th minute of play forced Os mostros porongaos's goalkeeper Hílton Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nico de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Os mostros porongaos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Esteira.
