After having played for 3 minutes, Tiaguinho Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayanazes SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiaguinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Raúl Zonta put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cléberson Breckenfeld. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Loyola in the 21st minute of play forced Marcs Náutico-PE's goalkeeper Leonel Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cléberson Breckenfeld made a huge save. Nicolas Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Breckenfeld. Guayanazes SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cléberson Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos in the 40th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Guayanazes SC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Nóbrega. In the 56th minute, Raúl Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robinho Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Borges hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Tiaguinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, Marcs Náutico-PE's Luís Fabiano Vasconcelos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Guayanazes SC booed when Marcs Náutico-PE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robinho Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Marcs Náutico-PE getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Valério Palmeira hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Urbano in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonel Senna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raúl Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Breckenfeld having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marcs Náutico-PE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guayanazes SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
