Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldinho Linhares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicolas Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Tepedino in the 3rd minute of play. Abreus EC's Nicolas Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Tepedino in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Dagoberto Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casca SS and the Abreus EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Casca SS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dagoberto Botelho hit a great ball. Matheus Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Gerber didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Abreus EC's Matheus Hoffmann shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Matheus Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abreus EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronaldinho Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Casca SS booed when Abreus EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Casca SS's goalkeeper Miguel Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Hoffmann. Davi Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nicolas Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Davi Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Casca SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Tepedino couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Abreus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Tepedino came free, but Nicolas Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes, Casca SS's Claudinho Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Saldanha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casca SS reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Fantini during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Casca SS's Orlando Fantini got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ronaldinho Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abreus EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 49 minutes, Matheus Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abreus EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ronaldinho Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Gerber having to make a save. Nicolas Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Lopez in the 64th minute. Chiquinho Garcia's late challenge caught a Abreus EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chiquinho Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Casca SS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Chiquinho Garcia hit a great ball. Casca SS's Miguel Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Linhares in the 69th minute of play. Cássio Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nicolas Saldanha made a huge save. Miguel Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Abreus EC's Ronaldinho Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Matheus Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ronaldinho Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Abreus EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Linhares couldn't finish the play.
