Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Sena took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvério Botelho in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elivélton Nunes saved Papagaio from getting behind. Luiz Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivélton Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. When Silvério Botelho got free in front of the goal in the 7th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elivélton Nunes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jajuaryahiva's Dênis Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Sena in the 11th minute of play. If Silvério Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Papagaio's zone, Luiz Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Nunes came out of the goal and Luiz Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvério Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Nunes having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Silvério Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papagaio's goalkeeper Elivélton Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulão Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Luiz Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Nunes having to interfere. Silvério Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Alan Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Jajuaryahiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. If Afonso Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Silvério Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match, Silvério Botelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elivélton Nunes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dênis Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Toscano in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Papagaio defense, Silvério Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elivélton Nunes. The Papagaio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elivélton Nunes should have stopped the shot. If Afonso Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Papagaio's Carlos Sena in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dênis Teixeira was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jajuaryahiva through an amazing save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Carlos Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papagaio's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dênis Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Jajuaryahiva's Ruy do Nascimento got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Elivélton Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Papagaio got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Oliveira. Elivélton Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Botelho in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Carlos Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Silvério Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jajuaryahiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Luiz Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Papagaio's Alan Carioca got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvério Botelho in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elivélton Nunes saved Papagaio from getting behind. Elivélton Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Lopes in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, one of Papagaio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Papagaio. Elivélton Nunes had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Andrézinho de Alcântara's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Jajuaryahiva's Andrézinho de Alcântara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elivélton Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jajuaryahiva had played much better football throughout.
