With a little luck, Jajuaryahiva's Dênis Teixeira got control of the ball when Vitinho Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willian Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dênis Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Haroldo Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jajuaryahiva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dênis Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitinho Arantes in the 44th minute. Silvério Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jajuaryahiva's Silvério Botelho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gino Cerezo's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Noroeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Esporte Clube Noroeste's protests and gave Guilherme Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. Guilherme Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gerson Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Jajuaryahiva players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
