Serafim Faria's late challenge caught a Nipoa AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafim Faria helped the player get up and apologised. Frederico Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diguinho Amaral came out of the goal and Sabino Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabino Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Amaral having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Couto got free with Tony Guedes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Frederico Couto made a precise shot to the right of Tony Guedes. Guainases FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Frederico Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guedes having to interfere. If Frederico Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
