Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Pedro Hames kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Olívio do Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Matorin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Reynaldo Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Pedro Hames's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Ramiro Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avengers F C's Emerson Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Hames in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Bebeto Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Matorin. Iaciara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebeto Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. João Paulo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Matorin having to interfere. Adrianinho Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. José Pedro Hames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Avengers F C's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Hames came free, but Emerson Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reynaldo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bebeto Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Avengers F C's Emerson Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Sena in the 52nd minute of play. José Pedro Hames scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bebeto Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Matorin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Avengers F C's zone, Reynaldo Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Paulista came out of the goal and Reynaldo Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Reynaldo Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iaciara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, José Pedro Hames cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Emerson Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If José Pedro Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Reynaldo Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When José Pedro Hames came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Iaciara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Hames couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, José Pedro Hames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iaciara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pedro Hames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Zé Roberto Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Pedro Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Paulista having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Iaciara FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
