Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ramiro Linhares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Linhares in the 4th minute of play forced CelticS's goalkeeper Vicente Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CelticS's Vicente Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Linhares in the 9th minute of play. If Amadeu Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Marquez's late challenge caught a Alferez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Magno Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Vicente Vianna made a huge save. Magno Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CelticS's zone, Ramiro Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Vianna came out of the goal and Ramiro Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes CelticS got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Veiga. Vicente Vianna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cléber Negri. A collision led to CelticS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nelson de Queirós hit a great ball. Cléber Negri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind CelticS's goalkeeper Vicente Vianna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nelson de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. If Amadeu Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Teles in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Vianna saved CelticS from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, CelticS's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Linhares came free, but Vicente Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, William de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Magno Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Teles struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vicente Vianna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alferez. Ramiro Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CelticS's Vicente Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Teles in the 88th minute of play. Ramiro Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vicente Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alferez's Gustavo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson de Queirós in the 93rd minute of play. Conrado Pontes's late challenge caught a CelticS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Alferez got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Pontes.
