Mauro Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Camirim AD's Valdo Pontes got a free kick in the 5th minute. Edmílson Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Vergílio in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Moura in the 13th minute of play forced Cagavoando's goalkeeper Ulisses Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulisses Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hamílton Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cagavoando getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Melo hit a great ball. Ulisses Meira came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Camirim AD's Filipe Moura. But to his dismay, Filipe Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute Mauro Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamílton Coutinho in the 38th minute. Luiz Paulo Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Lara having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camirim AD were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Cagavoando's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcinho Cardoso took the corner. The supporters of Camirim AD booed when Cagavoando was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Duarte Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Lara having to interfere. Camirim AD's Edmílson Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Coutinho in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Cagavoando's goalkeeper Ulisses Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Donato. Filipe Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ulisses Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Camirim AD's Filipe Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulisses Meira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafim Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Filipe Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ulisses Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Lara having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Camirim AD's Filipe Moura made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulisses Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulisses Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Donato in the 93rd minute.
