Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Digo do Valle made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Dante in the 7th minute of play forced Gurijuba's goalkeeper Frank de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. California's Válter Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Pirani in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid Pirani in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válter Bueno saved California from getting behind. If Deivid Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurijuba's protests and gave Alexandre de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Gurijuba got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre de Mendonça. In the 30th minute Bernardo Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Faustino during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Gurijuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Faustino to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Gurijuba's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Dante came free, but Frank de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th play minute Kauã Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frank de Amaral. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bernardo Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Válter Bueno made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Deivid Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Deivid Pirani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Válter Bueno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Bernardo Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Digo do Valle in the 82nd minute of play forced California's goalkeeper Válter Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Queiroz in the 85th minute of the match. Abel Lira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes Gurijuba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abel Fernandez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led California's Abel Fernandez to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank de Amaral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to California getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bernardo Dante hit a great ball. Frank de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The California fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gurijuba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
