Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fabiano Lara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Belmiro Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute João Vítor Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Diego Breckenfeld in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marcinho da Silveira had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 14th minute, Natanael Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcinho da Silveira. The goal made the score 1-0. Abel de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natanael Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes in the game, Diego Breckenfeld dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marcinho da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Xavier in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Lyndoya SS's Abel de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belmiro Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Luís Gustavo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curuca SC's Belmiro Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 47th minute of play. Laércio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Curuca SC's Natanael Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Diego Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 61 played minutes Lyndoya SS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Mangueira. When Curuca SC's Diego Breckenfeld in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyndoya SS's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Curuca SC booed when Lyndoya SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Xavier in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Lyndoya SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute, Agenor Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Xavier in the 92nd minute of play. Marcinho da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Diego Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Diego Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho da Silveira was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Curuca SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
