In the 3rd minute, Charles Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Genílson Mandrak. Tejessuoca SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ernani Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ademir Hermes made a huge save. Juan Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Charles Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torquato EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genílson Mandrak came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Torquato EC's Charles Pirani. But to his dismay, Charles Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Juan Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Genílson Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genílson Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Cardoso went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Pirani in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Mandrak saved Tejessuoca SC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Tejessuoca SC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Pirani came free, but Genílson Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Torquato EC's Juan Cardoso, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Torquato EC. Genílson Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Pirani went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovani Abraão during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Tejessuoca SC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Abraão. The supporters of Tejessuoca SC booed when Torquato EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Tejessuoca SC's Ademir Hermes threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Juan Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tejessuoca SC's Genílson Mandrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Torquato EC's Juan Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. A collision led to Tejessuoca SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Betinho Reis hit a great ball. If Charles Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Juan Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Charles Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torquato EC's Juan Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Tejessuoca SC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Abraão. Genílson Mandrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 99th minute Juan Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tejessuoca SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Torquato EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
