After a rather tough play, Araripina's Umberto da Costa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Torquato EC's Juan Cardoso fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 16 minutes in the game, Paulo Cruz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Charles Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Pirani struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paulo José Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torquato EC. After a defensive mix-up in Araripina's zone, Charles Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Leite came out of the goal and Charles Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egídio Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Torquato EC's Emanuel Marinho got a free kick in the 27th minute. Paulo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ademir Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paulo José Leite made a huge save. Paulo Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademir Hermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cauan Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Egídio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ademir Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Hermes having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Paulo Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Marinho's late challenge caught a Araripina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Araripina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Paulo José Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Araripina's Umberto da Costa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Dudu de Andrade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Araripina's Paulo José Leite didn't even have to move. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
